Well, to everyone else, anyway.

I passed all of my Proficiency Tests. Including one on phenolics distillation, which the analyst employed before me wasn't able to do. Best of all, since I've passed two in a row, the lab I work at can pursue obtaining certification in that analysis. We didn't before because it wasn't terribly important to what we were doing, and probably would've wound up costing us more money to obtain than we'd get back from performing it for clients. From what I gather, though, we're going to need it in the future, so I guess I'm happy that I'm decent at it. I also nailed cyanide, hexavalent chromium, mercury, and corrosivity. I wish that was all I did at the lab, but the reality is that I've got a list of analyses as long as my fucking arm... but most of them aren't important from a regulatory standpoint, which lends a whole "Remind me why I'm going this, again" air to most of my mornings.

Oh well. I'm good at stuff, sometimes. Neato.
